PTCL Speed Test is an independent website for people in Pakistan who want to check their internet connection and understand the results. Our goal is straightforward: make speed testing easy to access and explain internet performance without unnecessary technical language.

How Our Test Works

Our current speed checker sends and receives temporary test data between your browser and the server hosting this website. It starts automatically on pages where automatic testing is enabled. The results describe that particular connection path at that moment, not a guaranteed maximum for your ISP plan.

The tool reports download speed, upload speed, HTTP-based ping, and estimated jitter. It does not independently diagnose every type of network fault or measure the speed of a specific ISP’s entire network. We explain the process, limitations, and data usage in How Our Speed Test Works.
