Speed Measurements Are Estimates

Our speed checker measures data transfers and HTTP request timing between your browser and the server hosting this website. It is not a dedicated test inside PTCL’s network or another provider’s network. Download, upload, HTTP ping, and estimated jitter can change between runs.

Wi-Fi interference, device limitations, background downloads, browser behavior, server capacity, routing, and busy network periods can all influence the outcome. The tool’s HTTP ping and estimated jitter should not be interpreted as direct ICMP measurements, game-server latency, or packet-loss diagnosis.
